  • Position Title: High School Teacher for ELITE Public Schools in Solano County, CA.
    Classification: Must hold valid California Teaching Credential
    Reports to: Principal
    Work Year: 191 days
    Location: School site (classroom, community settings, and student homes as needed)

    Position Overview

    A High School Teacher teaches high school students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests. They establish clear objectives for all lessons that guide the learning process toward the achievement of State curriculum goals. They create a classroom environment that engages and supports all students in learning using a variety of instructional materials and media. While evaluating student learning, they maintain appropriate expectations for all students, provide appropriate feedback, and revise instruction accordingly. They effectively communicate with students, parents, and the community

    $65,270 to $76,028 per year. Multiple positions available.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Deliver standards-based instruction aligned to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)

    • Prepare students for CAASPP and other formative and summative assessments

    • Implement PBIS, Restorative Justice, and Trauma-Informed practices

    • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Learners

    • Analyze student data and participate actively in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

    • Maintain strong partnerships with families and ensure consistent parent communication

    • Support school initiatives including LCAP, SPSA, and school-wide action plans

    • Participate in school events, student activities, and community engagement efforts

    • Maintain a 21st-century learning environment integrating technology and research-based practices

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS required; MA/MS preferred)

    • Valid California Teaching Credential with appropriate Science authorization

    • English Learner authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, or equivalent)

    • Subject matter competency in accordance with Title 5 regulations

    • Minimum two years of experience serving a diverse student population
